Who is responsible
Raketman (Pvt) Ltd, company no. PCC 00299945, Hatch Works, 4th floor, 14 Sir Baron Jayathilake Mw., Colombo 01, Sri Lanka, is responsible for the personal data described on this page. For anything about your data, email info@raketman.io.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it loads nothing from other companies' servers: the fonts and images come from this site. That is why there is no cookie banner.
What the server records
This site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, it records technical details of each request: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and your browser type. These records are used to deliver the site and keep it secure, and Netlify keeps them under its own privacy terms.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run that work. Our email runs on Microsoft 365. If the conversation does not lead to working together, we delete it within six months.
When you book a call
The "Book" buttons open a booking page run by Microsoft Bookings, part of our Microsoft 365 account. It is a separate page, so nothing from it loads on this site. When you book, we receive your name, your email address, the time you chose and anything you write in the form, and the meeting goes into our calendar. We use it to hold the call and follow up on it. If the call does not lead to working together, we delete the booking details within six months.
When you apply for a job
If you apply for a role, we use your CV and anything else you send to assess your application. If you are not hired, we delete your application within six months.
Transfers outside the EU
Raketman (Pvt) Ltd is based in Sri Lanka, and our team works in Belgium and Sri Lanka. So when you send us personal data, it is handled in Sri Lanka as well as in the EU. Microsoft and Netlify may also process it outside the EU, under the data protection terms they give their customers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it or delete it, to limit or stop how we use it, and to give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere. Email us and we will reply within one month, as the GDPR requires.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Belgium that is the Data Protection Authority.
